Our most challenging tour, for true lovers of the mountains and significant differences in altitude, to climb the highest active volcano in Europe in small groups, on foot and without using a 4x4 or cable car.
The departure will take place from Piano Provenzana (1800m) on the north side of Etna.
Along small paths that cross the 2002 eruptive fracture and the endemic vegetation of Etna we will reach an altitude of 2500m, from here after a short stop to admire the 1809 craters we will continue in the direction of the summit craters.
At an altitude of 3000m, after a short stop to admire the western area of Etna, we will arrive on the edge of Bocca Nuova, the most imposing crater in the summit area with a deep depression and colorful sulfur sublimates.
